  • Three members of the public were present
  • Their concern was over grant of permission in respect of 39 Church Road
  • We are to write to Planning with our objections
  • Cllr Hames to liaise with them and send letter via Clerk to WLBC

  • Cllr O’Hare had submitted an apology due to illness

  • Letter received from WLBC in respect of situation in respect of Travellers sites in NM
  • We consider WLBC have aggravated the situation and clerk to write to WLBC demanding action or face prospect of legal repercussions

  • Included payment to HwB PC in respect of allotment charge of £12 each for three NM residents who have allotment place in HB
  • Clerk to write to those three to seek reimbursement

 

  • Agreed that payments of Accounts since the last meeting are ratified and invoices now presented on the payment schedule are approved and cheques signed by authorised signatories accordingly

 

60/19   Correspondence for Information

 

  • Schedule of correspondence received circulated to all councillors

 

61/19   To discuss requirements in respect of playground improvements

 

  • Clerk to contacted Yates Playgrounds and had a joint site visit to inspect and comment on state of playground
  • Their report awaited
  • To remain as an agenda item for forthcoming meetings

 

62/19     To discuss requirements in respect of grass and hedge cutting in various areas

 

  • Cllr Abram knows of a local contractor who would be willing to undertake these duties
  • To take matters forward and liaise with clerk to arrange what is required

 

63/19     To receive an update following recent meeting between Cllrs Hames and Abram and Environment Agency

 

  • We were advised good meeting held
  • Good maps provided to show where works were located
  • Maintenance schedules received
  • Works required to Aveling Drive ditch
  • Letter required to Planning Officer to enforce culvert on Aveling Drive – Cllr Hames to action
