  • Agreed that payments of Accounts since the last meeting are ratified and invoices now presented on the payment schedule are approved and cheques signed by authorised signatories accordingly

 

89/19   Correspondence for Information

 

  • Schedule of correspondence received circulated to all councillors
  • Cllr Hames had previously requested some items to be sent to her
  • Cllrs Blane and Abram also requested item sent to them

 

90/19   To review documents that are subject to annual review requirement

 

  • Donations, Equal Opportunities, Financial Regulations, Freedom of Information, Risk Assessment, and Standing Orders all require annual review
  • All previously circulated to Councillors ahead of meeting
  • All confirmed to be in order and not needing any amendments

 

91/19   To discuss distribution of donations to groups within the Community

 

  • Confirmed in order to donate again to those who benefited from donations last year
  • Only amendments are, following a merger the donation to Brownies be increased to £200
  • Thursday Community Centre Group to receive £100 as are all others from last years beneficiaries

 

92/19     To receive reports and recommendations from Members representing the Council on working groups and outside bodies

  • Thank you to Cllr Hames for resolving various issues, including clarification in respect of cancellation policy for late patients
  • Also attended CCG meeting

  • Cllr Abram queried an item from 12 months or so ago in resect of flooding query which involved neighbouring Parishes
  • Clerk to make enquiries to investigate and report back to Council once clarified

  • Cllr Blane checked situation in respect of Church Road planning query and was satisfied resolved satisfactorily

  • Meeting had been preceded by presentation from Mark Forster (WLSP)
  • Council decided that given it was NMPC who were obtaining lease and providing funds, they should have representation on CIC/CIO Board
  • Cllr Abram volunteered to represent NMPC
  • Clerk to take forward

 

97/19   Replacement Clerk

 

  • Position advertised
  • One applicant
  • CV received and to be circulated
  • All Councillors in agreement about replacement to be Angela Jenkins
  • Hours to be increased initially to 20 hours per week
  • Clerk to take matters forward
  • Present clerk to undertake handover role until end of year
  • Meantime, new clerk to commence duties forthwith
