Public Participation

• It was brought to our attention that there is to be a meeting in connection with Coastal access to be held in Hesketh Bank 22 November
• Speeding traffic on Station Road still a concern – can clerk contact police to arrange for a camera van to be sited there?

91/17 To receive an update on Leisure Centre

• Ongoing discussions between WLBC, WLSP, Serco, and NMPC
• All parties are looking for a positive way forward as all are keen on maintaining the Leisure Centre3 facility for the benefit of the local community
• Further meeting planned for 20 November 2017

92/17 To receive an update in respect of the works at Hesketh Avenue

• Drainage works almost complete
• The contractors are waiting for break in wet weather and/or heavy frost so they can return to complete works
• Fencing works will be scheduled thereafter

93/17 To receive an update in respect of Chapel Lane drainage

• Generally considered that it would be beneficial to put a solid pipe in aid drainage
• Clerk to write to school requesting a meeting between them and representatives from Council to discuss way forward
