162/25 Minutes of the previous meeting 10th February 2026

  • Accepted 

163/25 Police Report 

  • Police attended tonight’s meeting mobile police unit will be outside the Co-op in Banks 11-2 bike marking for free available and promoting ‘In the know’ sign up they are also looking at more days in Apr /May.
  • Traffic controls on road safety going to be out and about
  • West Lancashire enforcement officer going to be out on foot patrol with police looking at dog fouling reports 
  • Incidents reporting of electric bikes and antisocial behaviour police are encouraging to report all instances to 101.
  • Police are also attending local schools to educate about e-bikes and e-scooters

166/25  Emails / What’s App Msg Sent to Councillors February/ March

  • Query from member of the public regarding to boundary dispute this was discussed and as it is not parish land it is a private matter clerk to inform member of public to get in touch with land registry for advice.

168/25 To Receive update from WLB Councillors & LC Councillor

  • St Stephens school have asked if Greeves hall speed limit can be reduced to 20mph
  • Reports of a white van going around Seddon estate slowly but at the time they went round all ring doorbell camera’s on numerous hoses were reset.

170/25 Playground at the Hub

  • Play area is now finished but the ground around this is quite marshy the hub are looking into artificial grass and have asked if Parish council will help with the cost of this approx. £9200.00. Parish Councillors did agree to donate the monies for this to be completed

172/25 The Big Lunch Open Day

  • Parish Council have agreed to sponsor this event as in previous years
  • Volunteers are needed
