46/23 To Receive update from WLB Councillors

  • Bourgh council cut the grass at Aveling Drive
  • Grass cutting to the Bypass @ Banks end does not appear to be finished contact David Westley @ WLBC 
  • The flood report has been accepted by NMPC and to send out to Amy an email stating that.
  • Damian Moore to be MP next year due to change of boundary.

47/23 Review of Previous Rights of Way Information

  • Clerk found old literature, decision to leave until September Meeting as the Public Enquiry is in October

48/23 To receive reports and recommendations from Members representing the Council on working groups and outside bodies

  • Waiting for date from Plumbers for gas service
  • Grounds need maintenance Clerk to look into
  1. Hesketh Avenue (Banks Park) 
  • Before School holidays Cadent are arranging for remedial works and fix fencing
  • They have never fenced their box in, Cllr Abram to check what they are going to do

  • There are now more staff at the practice, 2 x ANP and 1 x ACP

  • Cllr Abram and Kevin Lennon to check bus shelters and access what is needed

51/23 New Councillors

  • The Council approved the appointment of Kyle Wake and Christine Lennon as a co-opted Councillor to serve until the next Parish Elections.
  • Mr Kyle Wake made his Declaration of Acceptance of Office in the presence of the Parish Council.
  • North Meols Parish Council including Crossens now have 8 Councillors there is availability for 1 more and one further name has been put forward.
  • Mrs Christine Lennon will be returning to the next Council Meeting
