121/24 Budget & Precept 2024/2025

  • Parish Council have agreed to keep the precept the same as previous year therefore request of precept of £56,065 after grants.

122/24 To receive reports and recommendations from Members representing the Council on working groups and outside bodies.

  • Cllr Abram and Cllr Howard going to assess the uneven pavement at 44 Hoole Lane
  • Clerk to look out car park documents in relation to St Stephen’s institute.
  1. Hesketh Avenue (Banks Park) 
  • Parish council to get someone in to clear brambles that are overgrown in this area.
  1.   Health Issues
  • Cllr Hames informed the meeting that a new ANP and HCA have been appointed at the health centre both new starts are experienced.

123/24 To Receive update from WLB Councillors

  • New Co-op site sold to a charity by the developer all work on the grounds should be completed.

124/24 Future Spending Plans and Projects

  • Clerk to Look into updating the parish website.
  • Welcome to Banks signs.

125/24 Dog Fouling Complaints

  • If Parish council can get proof i.e. picture evidence and name this will be passed to West Lancashire for appropriate measures to be taken.

126/24 Possibility of Funding repairs to Stain Glass Window at the Church

  • Cllr Abram asked if Parish Council will cover costs to fund repair of stain glass window for the church all in agreement.

127/24 Possibility of covering cost of removing two trees obstructing entrance to St Stephens Primary

  • All Councillors in agreement
