Prior to the business of the meeting there will be a session for public participation, limited to Parish Council issues.

‘Public Voice’ will continue so as to allow members of the public to give information relevant to a specific agenda item.
1. Apologies:To receive apologies and to approve reasons for absence.
2. Declarations of Interest.
a. Register of Interests: Councillors are reminded of the need to update their register of interests.
b. To declare any disclosable pecuniary interests (DPI) or non-pecuniary interests in items on the agenda and their nature. (Councillors with DPIs must leave the meeting for the relevant items).
3. Minutes: To consider the approval of the minutes of the meeting of the Council held on 11 March 2014 (enclosed).
4 To discuss and update in respect of proposals from CAB, Food Bank, and Post Office utilisation of Community Centre. This includes a request from the Food Bank to store food at the centre.
5 Police Report (verbal)
6 Clerk’s progress report on decisions taken at the last meeting.
7 Clerk’s report on any urgent decisions taken since the last meeting.
8 Finance
- To consider payments to be made as on list attached
9 Correspondence for Information.
To note the enclosed appendix of items, which will be available should anyone request any specific item.
10 To discuss how to utilise Section 106 monies held or due – agreed at a previous meeting that this would be held as an agenda item on an ongoing basis
11 To discuss developments in respect of car park with St Stephens
12 To discuss Council requirements for Website representation. Initial quote received at £550
13 To discuss a request from ‘North Meols Archers’ to hire the field at Aveling Drive between 1 April and 30 September
14 To discuss why a new nursing home in Banks is being named after someone in Southport
15 To discuss why school children in Churchtown are allowed to name the suite and receive vouchers and cash whilst our schools do not have this availability
16 To discuss and confirm that the Clerk should seek the re-appointment of Mr Ian Cropper as Internal Auditor
17 To discuss the possibility of a travellers site being established on Sugar Stubbs Lane
18 Councillors’ reports and items for future agenda.
Each Councillor is requested to use this opportunity to report minor matters of information not included elsewhere on the agenda, on the appropriate form, and to raise items for future agenda. (Councillors are respectfully reminded that this is not an opportunity for debate or decision making).
