  • The Parish Council wants to encourage villagers to convey their opinions for Fleetwood farm plans organising a meeting for villagers at St Stephen’s Institute 

115/24 To Receive update from WLB Councillors

  • Council has no overall control, 3 labour councillors resigned and are now independents.
  • Updated the Parish council regarding Fleetwood farm objections.
  • Devolution plans – proposals to create a combined county authority, government happy to proceeed with a plan which will include Lancashire county council / Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen
  • Need to decide who will speak at future planning meeting.

  • Parish Council agreed to help the Hub with payment towards planning application for play area at the Hub

  • Email 18/12/2024 re: footpaths need replying to

119/24 Parking issues on Hoole Lane

  • People getting parking tickets at the Co-Op carpark, camera’s not set up correctly.
  • Parish council to write to Co-Op head office.
